I really hate seeing trash like the bubble wrap on beaches. People who leave stuff like that around ought to be jailed.

I've been doing more beach walking than writing. There's a lot of litter on the beach right now because of the recent Noreaster storm. It gets washed up.

You are always so clever! I envision your brain to look like one of those we'd see in old Bayer aspirin commercials...ticking away...without the hammer of course :-)

It looks like you are in your second heaven being back on the beach even though it is cold winter.

Colleen, there is something about walking the beach. . .
I remember early in my 20's closing my eyes and dancing, twirling, singing and just letting myself go. . .what abandon!

And the times of retrospective thought and trying to figure things out, and then all of a sudden, I could feel it, the emotion coming up to surface. . .tears starting to fall from their ducts and what sweet release and how good I felt from such a good cry.

This has helped me greatly in my life for when I was in Hull this past December 2008, I did just what I mentioned above and it helped me cope with my family there and was able to strengthen the bonds that tie us together.

love the first picture :)

Wow, makes me wish I was on vacation! Hope the weather is cooperating.

I really like that picture on top---so dreamy and surreal. Lovely.

speed bump. like that one!
like a tricycle with a bumper sticker, caution: I brake for snails

Trash on the beach drives me nuts, too. The Christmas tree? Was it coming or going?

That's a beautiful beach. We need to remember that everything counts because it shows up somewhere.

Busy beach- god Bless your mother..Sandy

If only we could all be clean and responsible in disposing of our trash. Sometimes I wish we could rewind the clock and stop using plastics period.

I think plastic is the bane of our existence, contributes the rise in cancer too.

That's not me with the laptop. Just an unknown surfer.

If only that tree could be mulched up! Lovely beach... but sends shivers up my spine with the cold air outside right now!
