Wow...I'm the first to comment. I think that's a first! These pictures are great Colleen. You've got the light going through them just right. Good job!!
I love the ripple effect of spring flower pictures online, our tulips are already gone, yours are here now, we will soon see ones popping up further north. The bright colors are like a neon welcome sign on a dark winter storefront.
and thank you for letting them light up mine, too! how beautiful these photos are! we went to the annual tulip festival north of seattle recently. my entire day was spent making noises of satisfaction and sighing at the beauty before me. what a way to spend a day!

i love the lighting in the first one! tulips are one of the happiest flowers..... i always think of them as the 'trumpeteers' of spring.
