I'll never think of daffodils are quiet little flowers again. :)

A trumpet! Of course! Excellent imagery, Colleen. Our daffodils have been joined by the yellow-est forsythia bushes I've seen in years. Must be the heavy rains we've had recently.

Hi Colleen,
What a beautiful trumpet -- and wonderful photo! I'm so glad I stopped by -- I always love your pictures. It's still sort of winter here. Gray, brown. But today I saw a little pinch of the top of a tulip peeking from the ground and I could have shouted for joy! Soon Spring!

Just when I thought
daffodils deserted my
garden ... three showed up ;--)
I do love daffodils and yours is spectacular (as is your poem). Mine have arrived 'two-tone' this year ... white with yellow ... and I'm not sure how that happened, but I'm truly happy to see them at last.
Hugs and blessings,

Hello, Michele sent me to tonight - and I was glad she did because I somehow missed commenting on the beautiful daffodil and the poem. Loved both...
