I wholeheartedly agree, Colleen: just the right shot of color and thought on an otherwise dreary day when everyone in my house is ill and we find ourselves looking for happies.

So true and I also love the blast of colour from fresh daffodils at this time of the year.

Daffies are great, aren't they? What a herald for Mother Nature!

Colleen that is a beautiful flower.
We just got back from spending the day at the Botanical Gardens so I find myself very thankful for the beauty that God gives us through His creation!
Hope you are having a wonderfull weekend!

I got in an hour or so of extra work in the flower bed.
A surprise, we planted Easter lilies after Easter last year and I thought they died... now where there were three, there are at least eights plants shoving their way through the ground. I don't know exactly what they are, but they are not weeds and it will be fun to watch and see what comes out.

I have been delighted with all my little daffodils popping up. I have some tiny white ones for the first time with several little heads on one stem....they are so sweet! Ah wonderful spring....and a very good poem!
