Moon Peace

The moon is a mutiny
a one bubble revolution
escape from the sky-sea
of sudsy clouds
It floats across the heavens
like a flower child pagan
in peaceful demonstration
against the status
quo
Post notes: The photo was taken a few nights ago. The poem is one of many in a moon series written over ten years ago

Thanks, Sandy. I'll check it out. I was wondering if anyone noticed the bird droppings on the angel that looks like stigmata.
My blog went down at 1:30 yesterday and only came back this morning. I didn't know if it ever would.

there is magic in the moon... and you always seem to capture it in your moon poems.

I love that...and it was a beautiful moon a few days ago.

I love all your moon thoughts. It convinces me that the moon really does have a man (woman?!) in it with a mind and feelings too.
