Moon Peace

am.jpg
The moon is a mutiny
a one bubble revolution
escape from the sky-sea
of sudsy clouds

It floats across the heavens
like a flower child pagan
in peaceful demonstration
against the status
quo

Post notes:
The photo was taken a few nights ago. The poem is one of many in a moon series written over ten years ago

This is gorgeous - thank you so much for sharing it! :)

there was a moon contest for jpg magazine closes in a few days - you should enter

Thanks, Sandy. I'll check it out. I was wondering if anyone noticed the bird droppings on the angel that looks like stigmata.

My blog went down at 1:30 yesterday and only came back this morning. I didn't know if it ever would.

You should enter the contest Coll.

I wish you didn't tell me it was bird droppings.......I thought it was areas glowing from the moon. xo
PS I am glad your blog is back up and running!

Lovely!

As usual...I like it very much.

I just tried to post a comment and failed...maybe your blog is still having the epizootic?

Very nice photo and poem. I agree - enter the contest!

there is magic in the moon... and you always seem to capture it in your moon poems.

I love that...and it was a beautiful moon a few days ago.

I love all your moon thoughts. It convinces me that the moon really does have a man (woman?!) in it with a mind and feelings too.
