Self Potrait in Feet

First pedicure, given to me by my sister Tricia.
Inspected by her fireman son.

This is what I do on my birthday.

Walk a mile in my massage sandals.

The work week begins. Someone works at home
and someone doesn't.
What do your feet do?

Mr. Wonderful and I helped out a friend by taking pictures at her daughter's wedding. I always take pictures of the bride and groom's feet. Usually a barefoot shot of the bride when she throws off her shoes sometime during the reception.

I have a pair of work clogs with massage like your sandals. I can wear them all day and my feet don't get tired.

I often take pics of my feet too. I NEED a pedicure soon. I just moved and my feet are a mess for neglect and overuse. My husband (medical student) was telling me recently that people have really poor foot hygiene, especially older men. I wonder if this is because women have pedicures and men don't know that they have to take care of their feet?

I have not yet had a pedicure this summer, so I wouldn't take photos of my feet just yet.....LOL. Yours look nice though.

Foot Fetish Kathy here to say, "Looking good!"

Another Foot Fetish sister here and I say why are your big toenails darker then your other nails??? Also who is the man in the boots and brown shoes???
I try to take 10,000 steps a day with my feet. I now wear a pediometer and the highest I have gotten was 7,322. It really is harder then you think.

I love it when my toenails look pretty! I am having such a time keeping mud and dirt out of my nails with all the digging going on here!
So odd, I came this close (making a tiny finger pose) to putting up a shot of my feet yesterday while lying in the grass with my camera. I have a new pair of unlaced Chuck Taylors like of old that I wanted to shoot. The signs must be in the feet right now!

I added some details for you, Sherry. I think the big toe looks darker just because it's bigger. Hey, maybe we should get foot-fetish John over here.
Deana, that's the whole reason I paint my toes in the summer...to cover up the garden dirt! I bought some new polish at the Harvest Moon and I dropped it and it broke, spilling all over the tile floor! I was in a panic, but being a Harvest Moon product, it was all-natural, non-toxic, and wiped right up!
I was at a graduation party yesterday evening and took some photos of people's feet. It really works out well for the internet camera shy ones that way.

Since socks are all the rage these days among knitters, I see a lot of feet pictures. Yours are quite pretty sans socks!

My feet do lots of walking inside and out lately...trying to potty train the pup.
And I love pedicures...was thrilled when the new spa opened on the island, complete with massage chair and whirlpool for the pedicure. Get one at least once a month.

Love the feet! Years ago Mary and I made barefoot impressions in a pan of plaster, then gave the dried pan to a childhood friend of mine as a way of "putting our best foot forward."
