Funny how we got it first. You're getting twice as much I hear. We've been snowed in all day and loving it. Can't wait to see how Bryce reacted to his first snow.

Hello, NetChick sent me. She's good like that.
Snow. We had a dusting of the white stuff a week or so ago, but we're no basking in the glow of constant drizzle. I'm not complaining though. Considering the amount of snow that dumped in the Metro Vancouver area last year, I'd take the drizzle over that any day (except Christmas, it just needs to be gone by Boxing Day).

Started snowing about 5:00PM on Friday night and we are just now (5:23 two days later) getting the street cleared enough that people can get their cars out and run errands.

all of the news and photos of the east coast makes us eager to see our own first snow of the season, but we only want a few inches. this time last year we were snowed in and eventually ended up with about 18 inches. too many inches for our comfort.
enjoy these lazy snow days and have a wonderful holiday week!

I know that most people are wistful about snow, but I have to say: that is one thing I do not miss about the mountains!
Stay warm up there!!!
