Summer Stunners
A cloudy day isn’t good for washing and hanging laundry, but it’s great for photographing flowers.
Some flowers remind me of fireworks.
Others remind me of women’s hats.
Flowers have such personality. I call this one Freckle Face.
I’m partial to purple, so much so that I have a garden of mostly purple flowers that I had forgotten I planted so close to each other.
Note: All of the photos in this blog post garden were taken in my yard.

My coneflowers are now all faded and I dead-headed a bunch just yesterday. The groundhog almost removed every leaf, but I think they will survive. I need to transplant anyway! I love the way you juxtapose (is that a word?) the word images with the photos.

You have some beautiful things in your garden. I love the 2nd one and the lily is a very pretty variety.
