Oooo - I love your Petticoat Junction shot. Looks like a good place to hang out and read a book, have a picnic, dance to music, ponder life's great questions - pretty much any excuse to be there works for me.
It's about five minutes from my house on the Blue Ridge Parkway, a 469 scenic road that runs through Virginia and North Carolina. http://www.blueridgeparkway.org/
Ooh, very descriptive titles for beautiful, almost poignant photos. I don't have a yard of my own but I live in a suburban area and am always tempted to go tromping up to the corner of peoples' properties where their flora is poking through the edges, just to take photos. Well done, and NetChick sent me!
I love # 3 and saw it over at Ma's house and commented that it should be framed. Where is this place??? xo
PS Oh I just looked at the comments and you told us all.
PSS Have I ever been there?

The third photo was published in the Floyd Press. An alternative caption for it is: Parkway view worth pulling over for.

That third shot is an idyllic view. Heaven on earth. Earth is heaven. May we respect it as such.
Great stuff!

Yes, you've driven by it a number of times, probably not in bloom at the time though. It's a dogwood and blooms in early spring.
