Paper Cut

This is a great poem.
Short and direct. xo

I really enjoyed this poem, Colleen and enjoyed, too, reading in the previous post of how it came into being. I had an idea for a poem when I was driving to the grocery store today, then completely forgot it when I got there. Maybe it will come back to me later.

A side comment: This is not a poetic observation, but isn't it amazing how much a paper cut hurts?

Yes, I agree. Such a slight slash that lasts. About as bad as a torn cuticle. I'm fearful of paper cuts and how they can sneak up on you.
