Irish Night at Oddfellas

1. A front row seat at the First Friday Irish Night Jam at Oddfellas Cantina.

2. Lucy Goldman Singing Dougie Mclean’s “Ready for the Storm.” Tina Liza Jones (on the left) was strumming an unusual guitar; I think it was THIS.

3. Several played fiddle and one played a harp. I wish someone in the group played THIS, an instrument that when played well can bring tears to my eyes.

That You-Tube clip was hauntingly beautiful! Yes, that would have been nice to have heard there. Hey, is that a new table design I see?

We were sitting in back and moved up front to that front table after we ate. I said to Joe, "I don't remember ever seeing this table before." So maybe it is new. I wanted to go back later and do a series of shots just on the interesting tables they have. Still might.

Sky, here's a good start on a Floyd documentary: http://www.agirlnamedguy.com/daisy/content/view/372/137/
It was filmed by "A Girl Named Guy."

Uilleann pipes. They are a type of bagpipe, but smaller and much sweeter sounding than the Scottish bagpipes.
