Hi Sherry!

That view is amazing.

I so need a rest in a hammock!

Hope you are cool today!

All great photos...but I especially LOVE #3. That would make a great poster...with "Tranquility" written below it.

Great picutres!
1. the pool won't be lonely today if it's as hot in VA. as it's been here the last few days!
2. Ours are still green, but yes...a promise!
3. A good place to rest as long as you don't roll over.
4. My hammock picture is here.
5. CUTE.

i like the Bad hair day - I was having crazy hair when The news people took video of me felling BIG ole trees Monday, take a look at the coverage. I am the "optomistic" one. Peace to you

my tomatoes are still green! But...there are ALOT of them!

oh, colleen...you've got more tomatoes than me!! not fair!
my plants look awful! the yield this season will be a lot lower than last years.

the pool looks wonderful! I haven't been to a pool in ages. man, it sucks not being a kid on summer break!

I am anxious for my own tomatoes to ripen....how in the world did yours grow in such a neat row? I've never seen that.

Your sunflower is beautiful even with the wild hairs! And I love all your photos, great location for guest photos.

They're cherry tomatoes and I thought of you, Deana when I took the photo because you posted a green one a few weeks ago. The temp in Riner read 99 today!

PS Janet just told me they were "elf" cherry tomatoes.

That pool looked so cool and inviting that I just want to go swimming right now!

We have never kept a garden, but I did keep great big wonderful tomato plants once. I miss having them now. I loved being able to step out the back door and pick a fresh yellow tomato to make a tomato sandwhich with.
Ben eats cherry tomatoes like apples. It's the oddest thing. We keep containers of them in the fridge for him to snack on.
Your Parkway photo is very cool.

When you get too many red tomatoes, send them down my way!

Love these pictures Colleen...They are wonderful and I think I especially like your Sunflower Bad Hair Day..(lol)...the picture, the name and the Comment about it!

Ooo. I like this theme. I will have to tuck it away in the back of my mind for a blog someday. I smile at the bad hair theme! That is me every single day in the summer.

Hi Colleen: I just linked into your blog for the first time. Your portion of West Virginia is one of my favorite areas. I travel from North Carolina, up Rt 81 to NY to see my daughter, it is about an hour longer than the Rt 95 way but I always choose it because of the beautiful scenery and general feel of the area. I enjoyed your blog and will be a "regular". I love the fact that you are not afraid to go into the depths of your feelings. All the best. Ginnie

Oh, this makes me miss Virginia so much!

i have miraculously one green tomato hanging forlornly from my plants.
we are talking it through each day and begging it to hold on.
i'm such a bad plant mummy. but we have hope.
beautiful pictures darling.
