Pretty in Pink #2
AKA: 2 Pink Tutus
It's like meeting a friend of a friend of a friend; one blog link leads to another, and soon I’m lost in cyberspace on an unfamiliar blog and I can’t remember how I got there.
I clicked a link on somebody’s sidebar because I liked the name, “A Sense of Wonder.” Once there, I scrolled down a little and saw, to my surprise, a young girl standing by a Christmas tree in pink tutu!
Hey, I have one of those! (My son’s girlfriend’s daughter who visited this past Christmas) Is there something going around? A pink Tutu flu?
The whole thing reminded me of the incident of Reese Witherspoon’s vintage dress at the recent Golden Globe Awards, which one press member called “the dress debacle” because, God forbid, someone else wore the same dress to a Golden Globe party 3 years ago.
Not only did I stumble upon the parallel world of the Christmas pink tutu, but just days before I did my blog friend, Bill, mentioned a pink tutu in a Loose Leaf Comment, as though he was setting the stage for what was to come.
Have you experienced any cyber-synchronicity lately?
Post Notes: Pretty in Pink #1 can be found here.
January's Spoken Word Open Mic Night at the Cafe Del Sol is tomorrow night at 7:00
Afternoon Update: I just became aware through a reader that it's Photo Friday and the assignment for today is PINK. I've never played Photo Friday and was not playing when I posted this photo! Case closed on the cyber-synchronicity thing, huh.
Note to Readers: I'm currently experiencing difficulties with my main index template codes and am unable to post. Sorry for any inconvience.

I've not really experienced exactly that, but always find it comforting when I visit a blogger who has teens in their house. (Seems like most bloggers have young children.) The blogosphere is so great at making people feel like they're not alone.
I think the Reese Dress Debacle is funny. I expect her to handle it well. It's just a dress, after all.
Michele sent me. Have a great day!

Hi Michele sent me...loved the pink tutou by the Christmas tree. Sounds like you were on someone's wave length.

First, I heard that she pulled the dress off well and made several best dressed lists. I heard some call Paltrow's victorian number "a tablecloth" and others say it was beautiful and classic. So, I think there may only be one or two people in Hollywood who have any sense at all.
As for the synchronicity: Todays topic for PhotoFriday is, (drum roll) yes, you guessed it..... PINK!

Wow! Synchronicity must be contagious! Or maybe pink is.

I personally have not experienced too much cyber synchronicity lately, but I must admit to loving the colour pink. :-)

Hi Colleen...I'm not about the synchonocity, except one time I posted somrething and then Kenju posted something on the same subject because she had read my blog...I guess that's a kind of synchronocity...
This Photo Friday is new to me...and I've been on a couple of blogs from Michele today that have the Photo Friday thingy...I CAN'T KEEP UP!!! (lol)
I'm here on my own today cause I just love coming here!

Synchronicity within synchronicity....I swear I had no idea that the Photo Friday assignment was pink!! I've never done photo Friday before (not consciously)!

Now that is some total syncronicity.
Lots of times I post something, then visit my blogroll and find cyber friends feeling the same way about something.

It happens all the time, Colleen, both here and in real life!

Well, I found out about Photo Friday not long ago and posted my pink yesterday! I have read a lot about insomnia, lupus and sunrise/sunset this past week... coincidence?? synchronicity?

Hi Colleen..So, here is some sychronicity for you...This is exactly what you were writing about...
I finally saw "March of The Penguins" today...I've had it from Netflix for three weeks, but today was the first chance that I had to watch it...(yesterday, I should say...) So, then I thought I'd like to write about it and also write about a toy Penguin I had as a child....So, I Did all that...And, Put it up about 15 minutes ago, and then went to someone's blog who said that TODAY, January 21, is National Penguin Day!!!! I had no idea about that at all!!! Don't you love this Internet Synch.?
I am going back to bed and sleep, now...I have no idea what the hell I'm doing up, but, maybe the Penguins know!

Cyber stars all in alignment. I, of course, am swimming in pink and tutus with my two little girls. Love it!

"cyber synchronicity" I love the way that phrase rolls off the tongue. Think you could work it into a Haiku? Egad.

I've experienced many synchronicities but not yet the cyber kind. I never was into pink, but I developed a new respect for it after peering through a speculum. Who knew what saturated, powerful pink we carry in our hidden recesses?
