Cuts Like Butter
AKA: “Santa Came Early” and “How we gonna wrap that thing?”
This is Josh’s early Christmas present, being tested out by Joe. Pulling at the split ends in my hair as a teenager took more effort than this. (See the action video HERE.)
Post Note: We’ll also be splitting the cost of this $1,000 log splitter with Josh. It’s the only thing he wanted for Christmas and will be a needed addition to his Community Temple wood-firing pottery complex. More on that HERE. See what Josh got for Christmas last year HERE.

huh, that *would* be hard to wrap. Hm, with enough plush and stuffing, it might be made into a huge giraffe.

Oh, what a wonderful gift! That is a mighty fine log splitter--I know Josh must be tickled. And I am a little envious as I think of the big pile of giant logs that await our splitting maul! Of course, I already have a log splitter. His name is Tom.:-)

I've always wanted to see this machine, and now I have. Thanks for the video showing it in action. It certainly looks easy to use. A fine gift!

We heat only with wood, so Joe was very excited to have this. After Thanksgiving it will go to North Carolina with Josh. He'll use it for woodfiring in his kiln, which is a big production that used lots of firewood. Hopefully Joe will get to borrow it once a year before winter.

Very nice present! He'll get a lot of use out of that. Much easier on the back muscles than an awl and axe.

A great gift! We have one and it is such a great way to fill the wood shed in no time at all. Y'all think like me - I tend to give gifts to my husband that I would like to use... and that reminds me of a story of my husbands - one year he got his mother a hampster for Mother's Day.
Josh will get a lot of use out of this, what good parents you are!

Found your post through Technorati...hope you don't mind but I couldn't help commenting - because we're in the industry - I noticed the nice new, fast log splitter. Loved the video. And it's great to see people use them as Christmas gifts! Can you tell us where you ordered it from and what the tonnage is? Thanks!

22 ton purchased locally at Tractor Supply.
