Sign seen at the Jacksonville Center for the Arts in Floyd where our Writer's Circle met yesterday and where we had a discussion on punctuation! These are the simple posts. But I don't get the second one??
The summer sure did fly by. It was a great summer and I like the fall anyway. xo

Summer flew by like the traffic that flew by the chair left behind sitting on the side of the road. It's a mood thing to me. Maybe someone will come up with a better caption for that shot.

I'd like to have been a bug on the wall when punctuation was discussed! I know I violate all sorts of rules. It's a little bit that I'm ignorant and it's a little bit that I don't care...

We have been having an ongoing discussion on punctuation in poetry. Mara does and I do not. We actually work-shopped two poems we each wrote on the subject and will be reading them at the next Spoken Word Open Mic. Your comment, June prompted me to mention that on the front page. Thanks.

The Summer stops here.

Summer seating is now Curbed!

One seat left!

Fall seating available.

Signs of summer's end don't sit too well with me!

That's all I can dredge up for now!

the older I get the worse the punctuation- I want to invent some new forms, also butterfly on zinnia so lovely- have not seen one hummingbird this year but lots of butterflies

The butterfly one is my fave! Beautiful!!! LOVE the color! I posted about photography and will have a book later tonight.

I love the one of the butterfly.

From the feel of today, I ahve to admit you're right. Summer has fled and leaves are chasing its wake.

I am already pouting over the hummingbirds leaving and I still have a few left! I just know it is any day now so I have just prepared myself to be sad even before they leave. I look forward to next summer and our pond being full and a meadow around it. You'll have to come visit and bring your camera!

It's a date! Can we swim in it?

The butterfly photo is awesome!
And, how about I send you some of OUR summer....I've about had it and I'm longing for C O O L air!
