I like this one too. Funny how even those of us that no nothing about poetry can start understanding how it works and it really enjoy it when you put something out there we can totally relate to and flow with. Magenta sangria...delightful. You've done well here, I love this post!

It's simply words that mean red but when you string them together in certain combinations they have an ability to sing.
Thanks, Deana!

How fun to see how many ways there are to say "red". Each duet of words calls up an image of its own, but too, when all of them are put together, a chorus line forms, and an entire song is sung.

Ta da! That was a fun chorus of words right there in your comment, June.

Sherry, I've noticed that since moving to a new server the comments are slower to take (and are not set on moderation). Do you think that's what could have happened yesterday?

The many tones of red! I love the way "magenta sangria" sounds! Like Spanish rolling off your tongue!
Do you grow pomegranate there? We used to share them at school! Such a unique taste.

No pomegranates, just the tomatoes, beets, and red peppers. Oh, and apples.

Hey, where'd my comment go.
I think I said, something like... "Oh, that captures the colours and abundance of the harvest time beautifully." Loved, Colleen, so rich and vivid.
