The Lazy Susan Post
AKA: The View from my Lawn Chair

I may have a carrot cake hangover and sore muscles from dancing non-stop to American Dumpster last night at the Winter Sun, but I’m not ready to kick the bucket.

Last night’s wrist band is pretty enough to wear the next day, and it looks pretty good with my notebook, the one I don’t go anywhere without, even if it’s to my lounge chair to supposedly do nothing.

I don’t have to look too far to spot a birthday gift. This one was given to me yesterday by my husband.

I’m thinking about working in the garden.

But I have some important decisions to make first.

Happy Belated Birthday!
I'm glad someone has their garden together, I'm still waiting for the guy to come plow it up- I'm a slow starter I admit!
Here from Micheles.

I love the "I'm thinking about working in my garden" picture. It reminds me of all the fun we had with the camera years ago. xo

Sherry, doesn't my notebook remind you of a poster we used to have hanging in our room?
stu_art, You'd be surprised at how much fun I can have without leaving home or my lounge chair. I guess the camera can't focus on both my hand and the watering can.

I like the toes on the right! I treated myself to a pedicure last week. The color on my toes is called "Down to my last penny". (coppery orange)

You're too funny.I was working in the garden for only 40 min. turning over soil and my toes were so encrusted with dirt, you'd never have known were they painted red! And my shoulder, neck and various other fibro muscles are very sore today. I even took tylenol which I hardly ever take due to my liver problem.
It has turned cold today and my thoughts turne to indoor activities...laundry, blogging and resting!

Hello, Colleen, I'm here to say, "Michele sent me." But I look in here every day to see what new fun you are up to! I think maybe I'd move to Floyd just to take part in the birthday Scrabble games, except my three married children and my seven grandchildren are all here in Chattanooga. Oh, well, I'll just have to read all about it on your blog. Keep up the good work.

Colleen I love your basket from Joe. That was a great birthday gift. Our friends said they had a wonderful time at the Dumpster. We ran into one buddy sporting his t-shirt at the festival Saturday. I will get to see them at Floyd Fest. We are going RV this year, did I tell you? I will be there Friday, Saturday and some of Sunday....I am excited!

I thought of you Deana, when I got the hanging basket, remembering our chats about how much pinching and deheading we had to do last year.
American Dumpster was great! We'll have our camper on site this year at FF too. Joe is working, so mostly he needs it. I want it for naps!
