I saw this blue moon story in the news and thought of you and your blue moon wedding! Have a great day!

Oh, Colleen, I especially like "A cameo moon / is pinned to the sky." And your photo is perfect. That moon really does look like a cameo.
You asked how I could keep up with so many blogs. I work hard at it, that's how ... lol. And now I must admit I've started another one, which complements my Greening the Blue Planet. This newest one is Chattanooga Area Network on Energy (CANOE), because I'm a member of the Chattanooga Energy Hub which needs a place to bounce ideas back and forth. Come visit and add comments, if you like ... here's the URL: http://ChattanoogaAreaNetworkOnEnergy.blogspot.com

The moon has been gorgeous the past few nights and I heard through the grapevine that a "blue moon" was overhead either last night or tonight but haven't had time to confirm.

Beautiful! I took the dogs for a walk in the moonlight last night :-)

The poem is an older one, over ten years old. The photo is actually of last month's full moon, as the buds on the tree give away.
Thanks for the links.

I love "cameo" moon and "pinned" to the sky. Just what it looks like!
(I always wanted one of those pins in Blue...Wedgewood-like)

This could have been the "simple" post as well. Such an excellent choice of words. I was taking pictures of the moon two nights ago and it looked similar to this, much closer up, but very similar. I love the last line.

Beautiful sound of honeysuckle summer. I want to sniff some Catalpa.

The aroma is sweet the nose tickling and running is dreadful!
What a lovely poem and an awesome tree picture.
