Tour De Jour

1. Escape

2. Innocence

3. Easy Come

4. Easy Go
Photos: 1. Riding home from fluffing a friend’s pillow who is recovering from a hernia operation, I saw a red balloon. 2. Kaylee’s new bedroom. I’m jealous. Joe asked if her bed had a mosquito net around it. I told him, no, it's a princess net. 3. Blue sky, dogwood, and a patio umbrella. I saw this in Roanoke on Sunday while visiting my son, Dylan, and his family. 4. Two hours later I was back on the mountain in Floyd. My tulips had been brought to their knees from the cold and unexpected snow.

Great bedroom. My daughter wants black and beige for her princess net when we get into our new house. I can't wait to get her room set up!

I love the balloon and the room... all we need is the "cow jumping over the moon" and "three little bears sitting on chairs". I am silly and tired and having all sorts of server and internet difficulty. Could it be from the blustering winds and two inches of rain? The one thing I miss about Mississippi, besides my home is the internet DSL there... BellSouth did it right! Better than Verizon, better than cable, no wireless routers... perfect and fast and reliable. Now, will cross my fingers and press the button "POST".

I love how you see the most unusual things! And I love how you see a random red balloon, and name it escape. Such a creative mind!

Thanks for reminding me of the Cow Jumping Over the Moon and the book Goodnight Moon, srp. I knew I liked the images together but I didn't know why.

My tulips got destroyed too. I am jealous of that princess net myself!
Great photos!

Love that first vista. It opens such sense of free possibility.
The other photos are so well-composed too. If you keep this up you may make a regular photo contribution to your newspaper.

My tulips haven't even come up yet? Do you think you can save them?

I love the princess room, too! The whole room is terrific. Wish I had one when I was a youngster. Or, even maybe now...

Yes, I think I'll sleep over some time and have a fantasy night in Kaylee's room. I want to play with her toys too!
I think the tulips that are closed and standing will be fine, but the ones knocked over are ruined at the stem and probably won't stand again. A few other things in the yard look permanently damaged (that I don't know the names of).

looks like you are experiencing the same weather we are!
i love the little girl's room...somehow it's not as easy to get creative with boy's rooms!

I think that red balloon just "there" is the coolest thing.
What great pics!
My daughter also has a "net" over her bed....I call it the "Malaria net". lol

Oh, the snow on those flowers breaks my heart! We got rain and high winds and lost power twice today but no snow!
I love the little girl's room!

I Love these pictures...And your descriptions are so 'to the point'...
Oh your poor poor flowers...Is it ever going to warm up there and STAY warm? Hope this terrible storm hasn't been hard on you and yours, my dear...
