Car Talk
1. I’ve got to get out more

2. Overloaded

3. Burned out

4. The Afterlife
Photos: 1. Abandoned car seen at Nags Head this past summer. 2. Car at the stoplight in Floyd, so full of watermelons and pumpkins that we couldn’t see who was driving. 3. A remnant of a car that I see on my route to and from town. 4. Is it Mary Kay? Spotted in Blacksburg at a rental place. More "car talk" aka "cah tock" HERE.

I enjoyed your photos Colleen. I'm still trying to figure out "overloaded" there....a bit strange.
And either the 'Caddy' is Mary Kay as you have noted or Elvis really is still alive! :)

those are great! there is a really upscale subdivision with lots of restrictions near my parent's home. the farmer that owns the land next to it, leaves an old beat-up farm truck right on the property line in protest- i love it!!

Overloaded was taking in September. I was on the Floyd walking tour when one in our group pointed it out. It was packed to the roof with watermelons and pumpkins. We couldn't see the driver. There's a box in the front seat too, probably full of more produce.

That poor vine-laden car in Nags Head! You'd think it would be full of sand by now too.

Thanks for that sweet comment on my blog. I am originally from Richmond before moving to London. I look forward to more of your pics and words as well!

~~ The poor ol' car in Nags Head looks like something my father - in - law would look at & say, "Now, there's somethin' worth salvaging!!" -- He's all into restoring old cars...love the pumpkins an' stuff.

That last one is a little PeptoBismo... perhaps it has a stomach ache!

I'm sorry, I can't look at the photos. I have abandonment issues.
