When the Muse is Busy

It’s a mailbox full gold star day
of hand-written invitations
It’s a special delivery
I’ll gladly sign for
Because when the muse is busy
it’s always good news

Michele sent me over, Colleen.
I checked out your last week of posts but they didn't clue me into your letter. The first thought that came to me was a birth announcement but I couldn't find any collaborating evidence. In any case, you obviously liked whatever it was that you read. Congrats, I think.

It's a symbolic illustration to go with the poem. I thought of the poem like a sign hanging on my blog shop door saying that I'm busy writing right now, and isn't that good news?
The letter was a Christmas card from a friend in Germany. I like her handmade airmail stamp and they way it looks.

Yes, it seems good when you are not "writer blocked" and perhaps may even have a writing contract you are working on.
Good luck at any rate and Happy new Year! May the words flow in 2007!

How lovely to get something from out of country.
Thanks for passing that sort of gift to me too.
